CREATING A HOME
For me architecture extends far beyond the ‘physical’… It should form a narrative that tells the story of site, climate and the activities within. I strive to create architecture which elevates and enhances its surroundings, a form of ‘tangible’ art in which clients will interact while simultaneously providing them with a sense of ‘home’.
The narrative of space is often written in what we choose to leave out. In a world increasingly defined by noise, the role of residential architecture has shifted from providing mere shelter to creating a sanctuary of silence. Minimalism is not the absence of design; it is the absolute precision of it. When we strip away the superfluous, we are left with the essential: the way light hits a lime-washed wall at 4 PM, the tactile honesty of raw stone, and the rhythmic flow between indoor and outdoor life.
This approach requires a rigorous commitment to materiality. We believe that a home should breathe with its inhabitants. By using a monochromatic palette and natural textures, we allow the architecture to become a backdrop for the rituals of daily life. It is about the luxury of space, the elegance of a single shadow, and the profound peace found in a perfectly aligned horizon line.
